What’s the Difference?
You’re a good individual
You don’t steal, kill or lie Yet, unprofitable.
You’re a good individual
You don’t steal, kill or lie Yet, unprofitable.
You attend church and maintain
Society’s life of traditional routines
Trusting that they will grant you success,
Even at its best in this lifetime
But, maybe in the next.
You have the ability to wake,
Eat and sleep; to do as you please
O man, can you command your soul
To die and rise again?
It is insanity for a farmer
To continually nourish a tree
That produces no fruit but appeals
To the eye.
There is no assurance of a “Day to come” in this
Temporal, fourth dimension of
Time that we call life.
No one is certain of where the wind
Comes from nor where it goes;
Neither can one discern
Whether - If that was his last breathe.
You derived from godlessness
You did kill, steal and lie
Yet, became more than profitable.
You despised the church and rebelled
Against society’s rules of morality
Now, confident in promises of prosperity
In this life and great riches in the next.
You’re aware that you did
Not deserve another day
So you devote and dedicate to
Offer yourself a living sacrifice.
The contrast is transparent
If the eye could not perceive,
The person of Jesus Christ is the focus.
YESHUA, His name in Hebrew
The language of fire, interpreted as
“I AM BECOME SALVATION”
Which is also evident in those He dwells in.
Finally, Whether you believe or not
That’s the difference.
